Your windows do more than let in sunlight. They keep your home cool, private, and stylish, especially here in Stuart's hot, humid climate. At Ramey Floor & Home, we help you find the perfect blinds, shades, and shutters for every room in your house.
Living near the coast means dealing with bright sun, sticky humidity, and high energy bills. The right window treatments can fix all three problems at once.
Choosing window treatments should not be a last-minute decision. They play a crucial role in how your home looks, feels, and functions every day.
There's no single "best" option for every window. It depends on your room, your goals, and your personal style. Here are the main types we offer at Ramey Floor & Home:
Blinds let you control light with a simple tilt of the slats, all while keeping your space private. We carry Hunter Douglas' Parkland Collection, which includes real wood blinds and Everwood, a composite material that looks like wood but is easier to clean and more durable.
Shades like Hunter Douglas Duette use a "honeycomb" design to trap air between layers of fabric. This helps keep cool air inside and warm air outside, which can lower your energy bill month after month.
Roller shades have no slats, so they offer complete privacy when you need it most. They're a favorite for home theaters, offices, and bedrooms for night-shift workers who need total darkness during the day.
Wood, vinyl, and composite shutters add a classic, timeless look while offering excellent light control and insulation. They're built to last and work beautifully in Florida's climate.
Sheers and woven wood draperies bring softness and texture to any room, and they pair perfectly with blinds or shades for layered style.
Products in the Vignette family combine the best of blinds and shades, adding depth to your windows while still giving you full control over natural light. Not sure which option fits your home? Stop by our showroom and our team will walk you through every choice in person.
